Signs you need a Coach, Part 1

Not everyone needs a life coach—but there are certain moments where having one can make a real difference. The tricky part is recognizing when you’ve hit that point.
One clear sign is feeling stuck. You might have ideas, goals, or even motivation, but you keep circling the same place without making real progress. It’s not that you don’t care—it’s that you can’t seem to move forward in a consistent way.
Another sign is overthinking everything. If you’re constantly second-guessing your decisions, starting things and then stopping, or waiting for the “perfect” time that never comes, that’s usually where a coach can step in. They help cut through the noise and get you into action.
Lack of accountability is a big one too. It’s easy to make plans when it’s just you—but much harder to follow through. If you’ve noticed a pattern of setting goals and quietly dropping them, having someone hold you to your word can change that quickly.
You might also need a coach if you’re going through a transition. Career changes, starting something new, or even just wanting more out of your current situation can feel overwhelming. A coach helps you break things down so it’s not all sitting in your head at once.
And sometimes, it’s simpler than all of that—you just know you want more. More clarity, more direction, more progress. Nothing is necessarily “wrong,” but you don’t want to stay where you are.
At the end of the day, needing a coach isn’t about being lost or failing. It’s about recognizing that you could move faster, think clearer, and follow through better with the right kind of support.
